Over 500 swimmers from 10 NATIONS were competing for the “28-th International Swim-Meeting of the emblem bowl of Spittal”, which was held on the 17th and 18th of April 2010 in the indoor swimming pool of Spittal.
Athletes of 39 clubs from ALBANIA, BULGARIA, GRECIA, ITALY, CROATIA, MOLDAWIA, SLOVENIA, HUNGARY, BELARUS and AUSTRIA was swimming at the 28-th edition of the emblem bowl of Spittal.

Besides numerous young swimmers, there were also athletes which have important international experience in Olympic Games, World and European Championships. Among the female ahltets the national champions and recordholder Jördis Steinegger and Verena Klocker, and among the male competitors the viennese Max Podoprigoria, and the two athlets from Graz (Styria) Thomas Narnhofer, and the sprinter Martin Spitzer, were the favourites. But they had to count on a keen competition because of the presence of the good Italian, Slovenian and hungarian swimmers.
